Your mandate
You run a 40-person division at Meridian Labs. Triple output in 8 quarters while HELIX, an AI-native rival, takes the market. You can't hire and you can't burn the team out. Everything runs through your people and the AI you put to work.
A quarter, in four moves
- Talk to your people. Click a team card, speak in your own words, then END CONVERSATION & GET READ. One conversation each per quarter.
- Deploy the AI fleet. Click CONFIGURE AI FLEET, switch on the work AI should handle, set its autonomy and checkpoints, pair it with a person, then DEPLOY FLEET.
- Set your priority for the quarter: PUSH, INVEST, or STABILIZE.
- Run the Quarter. See your results, answer any crisis, and continue.
The priorities
- PUSH — ship hard now for output. Builds no future capability and it's hard on the team.
- INVEST — build capability that compounds later, at the cost of output now.
- STABILIZE — ease off to restore the team. Modest output, slow build.
Deploying AI
- Autonomy — how far an agent runs on its own.
- Checkpoint — how much a human reviews before work ships.
- Pair with — the person accountable for that agent.
- Fit badge — high fit means AI carries it; low fit is judgment work, keep a human close.
Reading the dashboard
Run-rate vs target is your scoreboard against the target and HELIX. Division Vitals (Capability, Alignment, Quality, Risk) move as you play. Your team's real numbers are hidden on purpose, you read them through conversation and their signal.
Team signals
Thriving · Steady · Strained · At Risk · Departed. At Risk means they may leave. Departed means they're gone for good and can't be reached.
Your division heads
- Maya Chen, Lead Engineer — carries the team technically, high standards, stretched thin.
- Devon Blake, Senior PM — client-facing and ambitious, reads the room.
- Priya Nair, Ops & Delivery — the glue that keeps things shipping, near burnout.
- Theo Park, AI/ML Engineer — fast and loves AI, needs guardrails.
- Grace Okoro, Client Lead — owns the big accounts, skeptical of AI near clients.
